I was born and grew up in Wondai. I started my working career as a junior secretary at Roberts, Mason & Co, solicitors in Kingaroy, working my way up through the ranks to becoming a legal secretary. I moved to Brisbane with Andrew so he could complete his studies and I worked as a legal secretary at DLA Phillips Fox, one of the top five multi-national law firms in Australia. During this time I completed a Certificate III in Business – Office Administration.

After 10 years and 3 children, we have moved back to Wondai where Andrew and I have started our own Accounting practice. I have helped develop our paperless office systems to facilitate electronic storage of documents, easy access to past records, hyper-linking of related documents and many other time-saving initiatives. I also prepare and lodge forms online for updating company information through the ASIC website.

I have recently renewed my designation as a Commissioner for Declarations which allows me to witness signatures in a similar way to a Justice of the Peace, with certain limitations.
